Terms & Conditions

These Terms & Conditions apply to all training programs, workshops, events, online sessions, digital resources, and services provided by Australian Academy of Property Pty Ltd (“AAP”, “we”, “us”, “our”).
By registering for, purchasing, attending, or accessing any AAP program or resource, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions.
- Our Services
AAP provides professional education, training, workshops, mentoring, and resources relating to commercial property practice. Programs may be delivered in person, online, or in a hybrid format and may include guest presenters.
All content is educational in nature and reflects industry practice and experience at the time of delivery.
- Registration & Payment
- All prices are quoted in Australian dollars and include GST unless stated otherwise.
- Full payment is required at the time of registration unless otherwise agreed in writing.
- Registrations are per person / per attendee unless expressly stated.
- Early Bird or promotional pricing is limited, non-transferable, and closes once allocations are exhausted or the advertised deadline is reached.
AAP reserves the right to refuse or cancel registrations at its discretion.
- Cancellations, Transfers & Refunds
Participant cancellations
- Cancellations must be received in writing.
- Refunds are not provided for change of mind, inability to attend, or failure to participate.
- Substitutions may be permitted with prior written approval.
Event changes or cancellation
AAP reserves the right to:
- reschedule an event
- change presenters, content, timing, or delivery format
- cancel an event due to low numbers, illness, force majeure, or other circumstances beyond our control
If AAP cancels an event, your registration fee will be refunded or credited. AAP is not responsible for travel, accommodation, or other associated costs.
- Attendance & Participation
Participants are expected to:
- act professionally and respectfully
- engage lawfully and appropriately
- not disrupt presenters or other attendees
AAP reserves the right to remove any participant without refund if conduct is inappropriate, disruptive, or unsafe.
- Intellectual Property
All materials provided by AAP — including presentations, workbooks, templates, checklists, slides, recordings, and resources — are AAP intellectual property, unless otherwise stated.
You may:
- use materials for your own professional development
- apply learnings within your role or organisation
You may not:
- reproduce, distribute, share, sell, license, or publish AAP materials
- use materials for training, commercial programs, or competing services
- record sessions without prior written consent
Unauthorised use may result in legal action.
- No Legal, Financial or Tax Advice
AAP training is educational and practical but does not constitute legal, financial, tax, valuation, or professional advice.
Participants must:
- seek their own independent advice
- apply professional judgment
- comply with relevant legislation, licensing, and professional standards
AAP is not responsible for decisions, actions, or outcomes arising from reliance on training content.
- Liability & Risk
To the maximum extent permitted by law:
- AAP excludes liability for loss, damage, or injury arising from participation in programs or use of materials
- AAP does not guarantee outcomes, results, compliance, or financial performance
Nothing in these Terms limits rights under the Australian Consumer Law.
- Photography, Video & Recordings
AAP may photograph or record events for marketing, education, or internal use.
By attending, you consent to the use of your image or likeness unless you notify AAP in writing prior to the event.
Online sessions may be recorded. Access to recordings is at AAP’s discretion and may be time-limited.
- Privacy
Personal information is handled in accordance with AAP’s Privacy Policy. Information is collected for registration, communication, and delivery purposes only.
- Third-Party Presenters
Views expressed by guest presenters are their own and do not necessarily reflect those of AAP. AAP is not responsible for third-party content beyond its educational context.
- Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of Victorian courts.
- Changes to Terms
AAP may update these Terms & Conditions at any time. The version published on our website applies at the time of registration or access.
